About

Meet London Lang, M.S. CCC-SLP

Hi there! I'm so happy we found each other!

I'm London, a board-certified speech-language pathologist and founder of Mindful Speech & Wellness. I hold the Clinical Certificate of Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California. I hold a Master's and B.S. in Communicative Disorders and Sciences and a  B.A. in Psychology.

I specialize in early speech and language development and neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. I provide services in English and practice a secondary language of American Sign Language (ASL), which I have learned and continue to learn from members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community. I am trained in analytic language development and natural language acquisition. I hold a sensory certificate for speech-language pathologists. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and have worked in various settings, including hospitals, private practice, early learning programs, schools, adult day health centers, outpatient facilities, home health, and more. I am a mother to two young daughters and son, and I enjoy teaching others tips to support early speech and language development. As a mother to a child with unique needs who attends weekly therapy, I truly understand the feelings associated with the identification of a new diagnosis and therapy services. As a result, sessions are led with compassion and empathy.

Mindful Speech & Wellness was created to help children communicate confidently and to make communication accessible. Speech therapy sessions are child-led and focus on highly engaging and motivating treatment tasks to promote learning. I teach clients to be mindful of speech, language, and swallowing goals and strategies to encourage overall wellness and generalization of skills into everyday routines. In addition, I provide client-centered and individualized evaluations and treatment to address client's needs.

Everyone deserves a life in which they can communicate with their friends and loved ones. I am here to help! Contact me for a consultation.
